DD break the silence

Duran Duran have been around for ages. The release of their latest album All You Need is Now may have gone rather unnoticed, undeservedly, but the video of the new single Girl Panic! is surely worth a post or two. Jonas Åkerlund directed a model-studded documentary-like feature, beautifully shot at the Savoy in London, starring Naomi Campell, Eva Herzigova, Cindy Crawford, Helena Christensen and Yasmin Le Bon as the band members. Near the end he incorporates a nostalgic flash back to the DD girls on film. The song is reminiscent of the 80s Duran material. Definitely one to watch.
