You either love her or hate her. Hard not to love Beyoncé, you gotta admit. Every time she takes the stage, she tears the house down. Yesterday she singled out the lady-contestants of this season’s American Idol at its concluding night for a fun performance of Crazy In Love, finale to a medley including Single Ladies, Irreplaceable, and If I Were a Boy. B also sang the brand new track 1+1.
Earlier this week she rocked the house at this year’s Billboard Music Awards performing her latest offering Run the World (Girls), first single taken from her upcoming album 4, scheduled for release 28 June. The performance started off with a video segment in which greats like Stevie Wonder, Babyface, Lady Gaga, Barbra Streisand, Bono, First Lady Michelle Obama, and Knowles’ parents praised the superstar. It was Knowles’ mother Tina who presented her the Billboard Millennium Award. Catch the mesmerizing performance (and video introduction) here.
